The Auburn Athletic Department is offering a limited number of half price bowl tickets to Auburn University students (limit one ticket per student) for the Tigers' upcoming bowl game.
"The support from the Auburn student body this year has been incredible, and we look forward to seeing a big crowd of students at our bowl game," Auburn head coach Gene Chizik said. "The student section at Auburn is the best in the country, and their passion, along with the support of the rest of the Auburn Family, is one of the reasons we expect to go to a great bowl game. I also want to thank Athletics Director Jay Jacobs for making the bowl ticket more affordable for our students. That's something we wanted to do to show our appreciation to them."
Bowl game discounted ticket vouchers will initially be made available to students with an Auburn Ignited ID that attend the Auburn men's basketball game versus Virginia on Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. CT. Students may pick up a voucher at the student gate at the upper east entrance of Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
Any remaining vouchers will be made available at the ticket office beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m. Students are strongly encouraged to come to the men's basketball game on Dec. 7 to ensure that they receive a voucher.
Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 8 a.m., students may turn in their voucher and show their Ignited card at the Auburn Athletics Ticket Office to purchase a half price bowl ticket. The half price bowl ticket is only available to those with the voucher and the Ignited card.
Auburn University students may purchase additional tickets at the full price of $70.
The Auburn Athletics Ticket Office is open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
