AUBURN-- The Auburn football team practiced Wednesday for two hours in preparation for Saturday's Homecoming game against Samford. The Tigers' 20-period session was spent finishing the game plan for the Bulldogs.

Earlier Wednesday, damaging storms came through Auburn and Lee County that saw property damage throughout the area.

"On a different note, I want to wish all the people that were affected by the storms today," Chizik said following practice. "No. 1 we hope that they're doing okay. So that's a concern for everybody in the community, I know."

On the practice fields, Chizik noted he has been pleased with the progress his team has made during the week.

"Football-wise, we've had a good week and finished practice tonight on a very positive note," Chizik said. "There was a lot of energy at practice. We have one more day (of preparation) and we need it. We'll be ready to play Saturday."

A pay-per-view broadcast will be available in the state of Alabama to cable subscribers and small dish owners who subscribe to DirecTV (Channel 785) or Dish Network (459).

Individual tickets to the Samford game are currently available for $50 each and can be purchased at www.aubtix.com or by calling 1-855-AUB-2010.

Kickoff between the Tigers (6-4, 4-3 SEC) and Bulldogs (6-4, 4-4 SoCon) will be at noon CT. The game will mark the 85th Homecoming game at Auburn. Auburn has a 71-8-5 mark all-time in Homecoming games and have won 19 consecutive dating back to 1992.
