Auburn in the NFL – Week 9

Devin Aromashodu (WR, Minnesota Vikings)
Minnesota was on a bye for week nine of the NFL regular season.

Rob Bironas (PK, Tennessee Titans)
Made a 44-yard field goal – his lone attempt of the game – as the Titans fell to the Bengals 24-17.

Ronnie Brown (RB, Philadelphia Eagles)
Turned his one carry of the game into a 4-yard touchdown as the Eagles dropped a six-point game to Chicago, 30-24.

Jason Campbell (QB, Oakland Raiders)
Placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2011 season after breaking his collarbone during week six.

Zach Clayton (DT, Tennessee Titans)
Was inactive for Tennessee’s 24-17 loss to the Bengals.

Antonio Coleman (LB, Buffalo Bills)
Made two tackles in his season debut for Buffalo as it fell to the Jets 27-11.

Karlos Dansby (LB, Miami Dolphins)
Posted 11 solo stops as the Dolphins shutout Kansas City 31-0.

King Dunlap (OT, Philadelphia Eagles)
Saw action on the offensive line, and at left guard for the first time in his career, in Philadelphia’s 30-24 loss to the Bears.

Nick Fairley (DT, Detroit Lions)
Detroit had a bye for week nine of the NFL regular season.

Tyronne Green (OG, San Diego Chargers)
Saw time at left guard as the Chargers fell to the Packers 45-38.

Quentin Groves (LB, Oakland Raiders)
Did not see action in Oakland’s 38-24 loss to Denver.

Ben Grubbs (OG, Baltimore Ravens)
Made his first start since week one and gave Joe Flacco time to post his fourth 300-yard game of the season as the Ravens knocked off Pittsburgh 23-20.

Will Herring (LB, New Orleans Saints)
Missed the Saints’ 27-16 win over Tampa with an injury.

Rod Hood (CB, St. Louis Rams)
Did not record a tackle in St. Louis’ 19-13 overtime loss to Arizona.

Brandon Jacobs (RB, New York Giants)
Had 100 total yards and a touchdown as the Giants downed New England 24-20.

Spencer Johnson (DE, Buffalo Bills)
Credited with five tackles (three solo) and a forced fumble as Buffalo fell to the Jets 27-11.

Pat Lee (CB, Green Bay Packers)
Did not record a tackle in Green Bay’s 45-38 win over San Diego.

Sen’Derrick Marks (DT, Tennessee Titans)
Had one tackle as his Titans dropped to 4-4 on the year with a 24-17 loss to Cincinnati.

Marcus McNeill (OT, San Diego Chargers)
Started at left tackle on Monday Night Football as the Chargers fell to Green Bay 45-38.

Cam Newton (QB, Carolina Panthers)
Carolina had a bye for week nine of the NFL regular season.

Ben Obomanu (WR, Seattle Seahawks)
Two receptions for 13 yards in a 23-13 loss to Dallas.

Jerraud Powers (CB, Indianapolis Colts)
Posted three solo tackles and an interception that he returned six yards for a touchdown … Also credited with a deflection.

Jay Ratliff (DT, Dallas Cowboys)
One tackle in the Cowboys’ 23-13 defeat of Seattle.

Carlos Rogers (CB, San Francisco 49ers)
Had one tackle in his return to Fed Ex Field as his 49ers defeated the Redskins 19-11.

Pat Sims (DT, Cincinnati Bengals)
One tackle in the Bengals’ 24-17 defeat of Tennessee.

Takeo Spikes (LB, San Diego Chargers)
Had seven tackles, but couldn’t power his Chargers to a win as they fell 45-38 to Green Bay.

Ben Tate (RB, Houston Texans)
Reached the 100-yard plateau for the fourth time this season and scored his second touchdown of the year as Houston set a franchise record for rushing yards (261) in a 30-12 win over Cleveland … Finished with 115 yards on 12 carries.

Reggie Torbor (LB, Buffalo Bills)
On the injured reserve since late August with a shoulder injury … Will miss the 2011 season.

Carnell Williams (RB, St. Louis Rams)
Rushed for 17 yards on three carries as the Rams fell to Arizona 19-13 in overtime.
