Auburn in the NFL - Week 8

Daren Bates (LB, St. Louis Rams)
Bates recorded one tackle on a punt return in the third quarter against the Seahawks. Bates has five total tackles and has played on special teams in all eight games this season.
Rob Bironas (PK, Tennessee Titans)
The Titans had a bye during Week 8 and will return to action at St. Louis next Sunday. Bironas has hit 225 field goals in his NFL career at a rate of 85.2 percent.
Ronnie Brown (RB, San Diego Chargers)
The Chargers were on a bye in Week 8 and will play at Washington next Sunday. Brown has recorded more than 7,000 total yards in his nine-year career with 40 touchdowns.
Josh Bynes (LB, Baltimore Ravens)
The Ravens were on a bye this week, giving Bynes extra time to recover after missing Week 7 against the Steelers following surgery on his finger. The Ravens will play at Cleveland next Sunday. Bynes has 67 tackles in his three-season career.
Jason Campbell (QB, Cleveland Browns)
In his first NFL start since Week 11 last season with Oakland, Campbell completed 22-of-36 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed three times for 17 yards as the Browns nearly knocked off the undefeated Chiefs, 23-17. Campbell has 14,981 yards passing and 78 touchdowns in his career.
Karlos Dansby (LB, Arizona Cardinals)
Dansby recorded nine tackles (eight solo) and a pass deflection against the Falcons. He remains the top tackler on the Cardinals with 71 total tackles and has now moved to fifth overall in the league. Dansby has 951 tackles in his pro career.
King Dunlap (OT, San Diego Chargers)
The Chargers were on a bye during Week 8 and will play at Washington next Sunday. Dunlap has played in 57 games in his six year career.
Nick Fairley (DT, Detroit Lions)
Recorded two solo tackles in the Lion’s 31-30 defeat of the Cowboys. He has 62 tackles and eight sacks in his three-year career.
Quentin Groves (LB, Cleveland Browns)
Groves did not play in the Browns’ Week 8 match-up against the Chiefs after injuring his ankle in practice last week. Groves has 156 tackles, 7.5 sacks and two interceptions in his six seasons in the NFL.
Ben Grubbs (OG, New Orleans Saints)
Grubbs started in the Saints’ 35-17 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Grubbs has started 92 of his 96 career games played for Baltimore and New Orleans.
Josh Harris (LS, Atlanta Falcons)
Harris snapped the ball for two field goals, one extra point and four punts Sunday against the Cardinals. Harris has played in all 22 games since joining the league in 2012.
Will Herring (LB, New Orleans Saints)
Herring recorded one solo tackle against the Bills Sunday. He has 135 tackles in seven seasons.
Brandon Jacobs (RB, New York Giants)
Jacobs did not play against the Eagles after suffering a hamstring injury Week 6 against the Bears. Jacobs has rushed for more than 5,000 yards and 59 touchdowns in his NFL career.
Corey Lemonier (LB, San Francisco 49ers)
Lemonier recorded one pass deflection in the 49ers’ victory over the Jaguars in London. Lemonier has 11 total tackles through the first eight games of his rookie season.
Sen’Derrick Marks (DT, Jacksonville Jaguars)
Had one solo tackle in the Jaguars’ defeat by the 49ers in London. In his first season with Jacksonville, Marks has 18 tackles through Week 8. Marks has recorded 117 tackles and five sacks in his five professional seasons.
Brandon Mosley (OG, New York Giants)
Saw action for the fifth-straight week as the Giants defeated Philadelphia, 15-7. Mosley missed all of 2012 due to injury after being selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Cam Newton (QB, Carolina Panthers)
Newton was 23-of-32 for 221 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 11 times for 50 yards and a touchdown. Newton became the first quarterback to reach 50 passing and 25 rushing touchdowns over a three-season span. The top overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Newton has 9,472 yards passing with 52 touchdowns along with 1,676 yards rushing and 25 touchdowns in his career.
Jerraud Powers (CB, Arizona Cardinals)
Recorded five tackles (four solo) in the Cardinals’ victory over the Falcons. He has 30 tackles and seven pass deflections this season. Powers has 240 tackles and six interceptions in five seasons in the league.
Carlos Rogers (CB, San Francisco 49ers)
Rogers recorded one solo tackle and one pass deflection in the 49ers’ victory over the Jaguars in London. He has 19 tackles, an interception and four pass deflections this season. A former Pro Bowl selection, Rogers has 417 tackles and 16 interceptions in nine seasons in the NFL.
Pat Sims (DT, Oakland Raiders)
Recorded three solo tackles in the Raiders’ 21-18 victory over the Steelers. Sims has 155 tackles and five sacks in his career.
Ben Tate (RB, Houston Texans)
Tate and the Texans were on a bye during Week 8 and will return against the Colts on Sunday Night Football. He has 1,539 yards and seven touchdowns in his career. Tate has totaled 318 yards on 66 attempts so far in 2013.
