Ole Miss at Auburn
October 28 - 30, 2011

The arrival of fall weather in Auburn marks the beginning of the home stretch of the 2011 football season. With temperatures expected in the 60's, it will be a perfect day in Auburn as the Tigers host Ole Miss on Saturday.

After three road games in the past four weeks and another home game three weeks away, the Ole Miss game serves as a great opportunity to visit campus and enjoy the Auburn Game Weekend Experience.

In addition to the football game and the game day activities on Saturday (http://www.auburn.edu/gameday), there are a number of events in and around campus to get you in the Auburn Spirit.

All Day23rd Annual College of Architecture, Design & Construction Pumpkin Carve (Dudley Hall)

1:30 p.m.Gymnastics Set for Intrasquad Meet (McWhorter Center)

The Auburn Gymnastics program will host its annual Vampires vs. Werewolves Intrasquad meet on Friday afternoon at the McWhorter Center.

The meet is scheduled to being at 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission is free.

4:00 p.m. Football, Fans & Feathers (Southeastern Raptor Center)

The Southeastern Raptor Center hosts educational, birds-in-flight raptor programs on Fridays before Auburn University home football games. Hawks, falcons, and eagles will be free-flown from flight towers, allowing guests to see these birds of prey flying close.

Visitors learn about the residents of the Raptor Center during these entertaining programs, which are open to the public. Admission is $5 each, and registration is not required.

Roadside signs mark the program's location on the day of each show. All birds used in the programs are permanent residents that are non-releasable due to prior injuries or human imprinting. The Southeastern Raptor Center is part of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. The center's mission is to rehabilitate injured or orphaned raptors, and to educate the public.

5:00 p.m.Reverse Tiger Walk (Athletic Complex)

Send the Tiger football team off in-style as they leave for their overnight stay out-of-town. The Reverse Tiger Walk is open to the public.

6:00 p.m.Beat Ole Miss Pep Rally (Graves Amphitheater)

Get ready for the big game and enjoy the Beat Ole Miss Pep Rally. The event is open to the public.

6:00 p.m. Auburn Baseball 2012 Team Autograph Session (Plainsman Park)

Come out and meet the 2012 edition of the Auburn baseball team.

7:00 p.m. Auburn Baseball Celebrity Homerun Derby (Plainsman Park)

Celebrities scheduled to appear: Tim Hudson, David Ross, Wes Helms, Gabe Gross, Jonathan Schuerholz, Hunter Morris, Kevin Patterson and Brian Fletcher

A donation of $2 is requested with proceeds benefitting the Hudson Family Foundation.

7:00 p.m.Tiger Nights (Student Center)

Enjoy this Halloween-themed Tiger Nights featuring a haunted house, inflatables, food and much more. This event is free for AU students with current ID and $5 or 5 canned goods for all others.

2:00 p.m. Men's Basketball Intra-Squad Scrimmage (Auburn Arena)

The Auburn men's team will conduct an intra-squad scrimmage. The scrimmage is open to the public and fans are asked to use the north entrance to the arena.

Sunday, October 30, 2011
2:00 p.m. Auburn Women's Basketball vs. Georgia State and College (Auburn Arena)

The Auburn women's team tips-off the season with an exhibition game. Admission is free of charge.
