AUBURN, Ala.  A potential Top 5 meeting between Auburn and Ole Miss will be showcased in prime time next week.

The SEC announced Monday the game between No. 5 Auburn and No. 3 Ole Miss will be televised at 6 or 6:15 p.m. Nov. 1 from Oxford. The exact time will be decided later once the game is either designated for ESPN or ESPN2.

First up, though, is Auburn's 6:30 p.m. Saturday home game against South Carolina on the SEC Network, and Ole Miss' visit to LSU at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.

Auburn-Ole Miss could be the SEC headliner next week, though CBS, which has first choice, will televise Florida-Georgia. CBS chose that game before the season started. ESPN happily will pick between Auburn-Ole Miss and Mississippi State-Arkansas.

Auburn beat Ole Miss 30-22 last season in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
