AUBURN, Ala.  Auburn's C.J. Uzomah continues to be recognized as on the nation's top tight ends.
 
Uzomah was named Monday to the midseason watch list for the John Mackey Award, which goes to the nation best tight end. Thirty-three players made the cut.
 
Uzomah has six catches for 74 yards and two touchdowns this season. He has 24 catches for 364 yards and six touchdowns in his career. 
 
Semifinalists will be announced Nov. 17 and the finalists will be announced Nov. 24. The award will be presented Dec. 11.
 
Thirteen Mackey award winners have played in the NFL.
