Auburn's Rudy Ford finds running room on a kickoff return against San Jose State

AUBURN, Ala. ― Rudy Ford's long kickoff returns Saturday earned him the Southeastern Conference special teams player of the week award Monday, but he didn't stop there helping his team beat San Jose State 35-21 over the weekend.
Ford returned two kickoff returns for 81 yards, including a career-best 58-yarder.
He also led Auburn with a career-best 14 tackles and recorded his third forced fumble of his career. Ford leads Auburn with 49 tackles and has an interception.
The SEC's other weekly winners were Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison on defense, Alabama running back Derrick Henry on offense, Alabama receiver Calvin Ridley as the top freshman, Arkansas' Sebastian Tretola in the offensive line and Texas A&M's Myles Garrett in the defensive line.
