AUBURN, Ala. -
Auburn junior Antonio Coleman has been named the Southeastern Conference's Defensive Lineman of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Coleman was honored following Auburn's 14-12 victory over Tennessee Saturday.
Coleman registered four tackles, including a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss during Auburn's victory over the Volunteers. He was instrumental in helping hold Tennessee to a season-low 191 yards of total offense, which were the fewest yards of offense by a Tennessee team against Auburn since 1988 (175).
Coleman's sack against the Volunteers was his fourth of the season, which leads the SEC. He has also registered at least one tackle for loss in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.
No. 13 Auburn (4-1, 2-1 SEC) returns to action Saturday when the Tigers visit No. 19 Vanderbilt (4-0, 2-0 SEC). The game kicks off at 5 p.m. CT and will be nationally televised by ESPN.
