Auburn-Tennessee Game Day Advisory

Fans attending the game are advised to review the following information in preparation for travel to Auburn this weekend.
Make the Orange, BLUE At the request of Auburn students and the Auburn Student Government Association, fans are encouraged to break away from the "All Auburn, All Orange" theme for one game and wear blue to this weekend's game versus Tennessee.

Friday, September 26, 2008 4 p.m. - Campus opens for tailgating
Saturday, September 27, 2008 10:30 a.m. - Tiger Team Village open Noon - Student gates open 12:15 p.m. - Tiger Walk 12:30 p.m. - Public gates open 12:45 p.m. - Spirit March 2:15 p.m. - Pre-Game begins 2:19 p.m. - Eagle Flight 2:35 p.m. - Auburn vs. Tennessee (Make the orange, BLUE)
Auburn Pride Sportsmanship Program The Auburn Athletics Department has implemented the Auburn Pride Sportsmanship program. For more information on the Auburn Pride Sportsmanship program, visit www.auburntigers.com.
Pre-Game Traffic Flow Change Fans wishing to travel west on Samford Avenue from College Street will be required to have a proper parking pass to access Samford Avenue beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Fans without the proper parking pass will be asked to continue travel on College Street. The Mell Street corridor, bound by the intersections of Thach and College, Mell and Samford, and Roosevelt and College will also close to vehicular traffic three hours prior to kickoff, an hour earlier than normal, due to expected congestion in that area.
Tiger Transit Free shuttle service beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing through post-game. Pick-up locations include Tiger Town (Opelika), Village Mall (Auburn), K-Mart (Auburn), University Facilities Division (Samford Avenue). The shuttles will arrive and depart from the southeast side of the coliseum.
Miscellaneous ATMs - Six ATMs are located in and around the stadium for use on game day. The ATMs are located at the following locations: Coliseum concourse behind Section 11, Coliseum concourse behind Section 36, Stadium at Gate 12, Stadium at student section - 2 locations and Stadium inside Gate 1.
Trash/Recycling - Please keep the campus and the city of Auburn beautiful by placing all trash and recycling in the proper bins.
Disabled Parking - Parking for vehicles with handicap placards is available in Lot Y on W. Magnolia Avenue near the AU Credit Union. Parking is free and first-come, first-served. Shuttle service is available before, during and after the game.
Game Day Website The game day website may be accessed at www.auburn.edu/gameday. The website will be updated each week. The site contains information on parking, traffic, tailgating regulations and game day activities. Fans may also print campus and post-game traffic maps.
Game Day VLog Each week, important game day information will be available on-line at www.aotourism.com/gameday in the Auburn Game Day News VLog. The video will contain information regarding hotel availability and the most up-to-date information for the weekend's game. The video will also feature a preview of the game with Coach Tommy Tuberville. |
