AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn center Reese Dismukes is a nominee for the Senior CLASS Award, an honor that recognizes achievements and leadership in the community, classroom, character and competition.
The CLASS award is an acronym for "Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School," according to the organization.
There are 30 candidates nationally, and six from the SEC, nominated for the award. The list will be narrowed to 10 finalists midway through the season.
Dismukes' resume' includes the SEC academic honor roll, team captain in 2013, participation in community service and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and his work as a four-year starter. He's also on the watch lists for the Outland and Rimington trophies and Lombardi Award.
He's made a team-high 40 career starts at Auburn.
