AUBURN, Ala. – Daytime football is finally coming to Jordan-Hare Stadium after four night games to open Auburn's football season.
Auburn's game against Louisiana-Monroe will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 on the SEC Network Alternate, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.
Auburn's first four games were scheduled for night football, starting with the opener against Clemson and running through this Saturday's game against LSU. The LSU game will start under the sun, at 5 p.m. on ESPN, but will finish under the lights.
The Louisiana-Monroe game will be the last of five straight home games to open the season. The Tigers will finally hit the road when they play at Mississippi State on Oct. 8.
