AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn University Athletics and XOS Digital, Incorporated jointly announced today the launch of the official 2010-11 iPhone and Android smart phone mobile applications of the Auburn Tigers.
"We are pleased to bring our fans increased coverage and highlights through their iPhones or Android smart phones for the new academic year," said Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs. "By embracing this advanced mobile technology, we are able to offer an enhanced game-day experience to our loyal fans."
The applications, built by XOS Digital, will feature highlights, scores, live stats and breaking news for football, basketball, women's basketball and all other Tiger sports. Auburn is the first school in the Southeastern Conference to offer both live-game statistics and video highlights through a mobile application. Updated content will be provided to fans through the XOS-powered Auburn Digital Sports Network customized specifically for Auburn Athletics.

The Auburn Tigers mobile applications will debut with an introductory price of $2.99. The iPhone application is available on the iTunes store, and the Android application is available on the Android store. An official Auburn Tigers iPad application is currently under development with a targeted release date of October 2010.
