AUBURN, Ala. -
Auburn senior Jason Bosley has been named the Southeastern Conference's Offensive Lineman of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Bosley was honored following Auburn's 27-13 victory over Southern Miss Saturday.
Bosley made his first career start at right tackle against the Golden Eagles, after starting the previous 14 consecutive games at center. In his first game at his new position, he graded out at a team-best 94 percent while playing 70 snaps.
Bosley was instrumental in helping Auburn roll up 380 yards of offense against Southern Miss while averaging 5.1 yards per play. The Tigers had five drives during the game that went at least 64 yards, including three that included at least 10 plays.
No. 9 Auburn returns to action Saturday when the Tigers visit Mississippi State in the SEC opener for both squads. The game kicks off at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised by ESPN2.
