The Auburn football team conducted its final workout prior to Saturday's game against South Florida with a practice that lasted just over an hour Thursday morning at the practice fields behind the Athletic Complex.
"The last two days of practice were good and our attention today was good," Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "We had a chance for everyone to play today and they all moved around well."
The Tigers spent several periods fine-tuning the special teams before moving to team drills, finishing the workout with a two-minute drill.
"The biggest thing this week is that we have to get our intensity back," Tuberville said. "I thought we played hard last week but we just lost our concentration sometimes. That will be the biggest key this week. We would like to play better on both sides of the ball and the kicking game. This will be a major test for us."
The game will be televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 8 p.m. CT.
Individual tickets to the South Florida game are currently available for $45, and tickets are also available for home games against Mississippi State, New Mexico State, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Tennessee Tech. To purchase tickets log on to www.autigertickets.com or call 1-800-AUB-1957.
