Auburn in the NFL - Preseason Week 2
Devin Aromashodu (WR, Chicago Bears)
Aromashodu did not play in week two of the preseason against the San Diego Chargers. Had two catches for 13 yards against the Carolina Panthers in week one.
Daren Bates (LB, St. Louis Rams)
Did not record any statistics against the Green Bay Packers, but saw playing time. In week one, Bates recorded four tackles (two individual) against the Cleveland Browns.
Rob Bironas (PK, Tennessee Titans)
Made a 46-yard field goal against the Cincinnati Bengals and was 1-for-3 in the game. Bironas did not play in week one of the preseason against the Washington Redskins.
Emory Blake (WR, St. Louis Rams)
Had one reception for 11 yards against the Green Bay Packers. Blake did not record any statistics in week one against the Cleveland Browns.
Ronnie Brown (RB, San Diego Chargers)
Did not record any statistics in week two against the Chicago Bears. Had two rushes for four yards in week one against the Seattle Seahawks. Brown has a total of 5,171 yards and 37 touchdowns in his career.
Josh Bynes (LB, Baltimore Ravens)
Recorded five tackles (three solo) against the Atlanta Falcons. In week one he had three tackles (one solo) against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Entering his third season in the NFL, Bynes has recorded a total of 34 tackles.
Jason Campbell (QB, Cleveland Browns)
Was 12-for-14 for 106 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions. Campbell also had one rush for nine yards. Against the St. Louis Rams in week one, Campbell was 6-for-7 for 37 yards and recorded one rush for 12 yards.
Zach Clayton (DT, Tennessee Titans)
Against the Cincinnati Bengals Clayton forced a fumble and recorded one tackle. In week one he also recorded a tackle. This is his second year in the league after serving on the practice squad in 2012.
Karlos Dansby (LB, Arizona Cardinals)
Did not record any statistics against the Dallas Cowboys in week two or the Green Bay Packers in week one. This is Dansby’s 10th season in the league, he has recorded 707 tackles and 11 interceptions in his career.
King Dunlap (OT, San Diego Chargers)
Saw playing time against the Chicago Bears in week two of the preseason. Dunlap started in week one against the Seattle Seahawks as he entered his sixth season in the NFL. His previous five seasons were all played with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Nick Fairley (DT, Detroit Lions)
Recorded three tackles (one solo) against the Cleveland Browns in week two. Had one tackle against the New York Jets in the preseason opener. Entering his third season, Fairley has 49 tackles and two forced fumbles in his career.
Tyronne Green (OG, New England Patriots)
Did not play in week two against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Saw playing time in week one against the Philadelphia Eagles. Green is entering his fifth season and started 13 games in 2012 for the San Diego Chargers.
Quentin Groves (LB, Cleveland Browns)
Had two tackles against the Detroit Lions in week two and one tackle in week one against the St. Louis Rams. Entering his sixth season, Groves has 153 tackles and 6.5 sacks in his career.
Ben Grubbs (OG, New Orleans Saints)
Started in both preseason games against the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs. Grubbs is entering his seventh season in the league and his second with the Saints.
Josh Harris (LS, Atlanta Falcons)
Played in week two against the Baltimore Ravens, as well as week one against the Cincinnati Bengals. Harris is in his second season and played in 16 games with the Falcons in 2012.
Will Herring (LB, New Orleans Saints)
Recorded one tackle against the Oakland Raiders. In week one he had no tackles, but did record a pass deflection. Herring, an Opelika native, has 131 tackles in his five seasons in the NFL.
Corey Lemonier (LB, San Francisco 49ers)
Recorded four solo tackles and his first career sack in the 49ers 15-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. In week one Lemonier did not record any statistics against the Denver Broncos.
Philip Lutzenkirchen (TE, St. Louis Rams)
Did not record a reception against the Green Bay Packers. In week one, Lutzenkirchen caught two passes for 18 yards with a long of 13 yards.
Sen’Derrick Marks (DT, Jacksonville Jaguars)
Recorded three tackles against the New York Jets and one tackle in week one against the Miami Dolphins. Entering his fifth season, Marks has 99 tackles in his career. This is his first season with the Jaguars, previously playing for the Tennessee Titans.
Onterio McCalebb (RB/DB, Cincinnati Bengals)
Recorded one kick return for 34 yards to help the Bengals defeat the Tennessee Titans 27-19. Did not record any statistics in week one against the Atlanta Falcons.
Brandon Mosley (OG, New York Giants)
Saw playing time in week two against the Indianapolis Colts and started against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week one. Mosley missed the entire 2012 season due to injury.
Cam Newton (QB, Carolina Panthers)
Was 8-for-17 for 112 yards passing against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also rushed once for five yards. In week one against the Chicago Bears, Newton was 3-for-6 for 16 yards, and had one touchdown as well as an interception. This is Newton’s third season starting for the Panthers, he has recorded 7,920 yards passing with 40 touchdowns and 1,447 yards rushing with 22 touchdowns in his career.
Ben Obomanu (WR, New York Jets)
Did not record any statistics against the Jacksonville Jaguars in week two. Recorded four catches for 59 yards in week one against the Detroit Lions. Entering his seventh season, Obomanu has 1,209 yards receiving with seven touchdowns in his career.
Jerraud Powers (CB, Arizona Cardinals)
Had two tackles, one forced fumble and a pass deflection in week two against the Dallas Cowboys. Did not record any statistics in week one against the Green Bay Packers. Powers has 210 tackles and six interceptions in his five-year career.
Jay Ratliff (DT, Dallas Cowboys)
Has not recorded any statistics in the three preseason games the Cowboys have played against the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals. The 2013 season will be his ninth as a professional while recording 228 tackles and 27 sacks.
Carlos Rogers (CB, San Francisco 49ers)
Did not record any statistics in the 49ers’ first two preseason games against the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. A former All-Pro corner, Rogers has 398 tackles and 15 interceptions in his career.
Pat Sims (DT, Oakland Raiders)
Did not record any statistics in the Raiders’ first two preseason games against the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. This is Sims’ sixth season in the NFL, he has 138 tackles and five sacks in his career.
John Sullen (OG, Cincinnati Bengals)
The rookie has played in the first two games for the Bengals against Tennessee and Atlanta. He was signed as an undrafted free agent over the summer.
Ben Tate (RB, Houston Texans)
Had four carries for 12 yards and caught two passes for nine yards against the Miami Dolphins. In week one Tate did not have any rushes, but caught two passes for eight yards. This is Tate’s fourth season in the NFL, he has 1,221 yards and six touchdowns rushing in his career.
Neiko Thorpe (DB, Kansas City Chiefs)
Thorpe had two solo tackles in the Chiefs’ 15-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In week one, Thorpe added one pass breakup. This is his second season in the league.
Lee Ziemba (OT, Indianapolis Colts)
Played against the New York Giants in week two, as well as against the Buffalo Bills in week one. This is Ziemba’s third season in the NFL.
