AUBURN - After the first day of Fall Semester classes on the Auburn campus, the Tigers held a 90-minute workout in helmets and shoulder pads Thursday evening at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields.
After reviewing film of Wednesday evening's scrimmage, offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler feels the Tigers have made some constructive strides.
"We've improved in some of the areas on things we wanted to accomplish," Loeffler said. "Yet there are still inconsistencies that need cleaned up in the next two weeks. Consistency is our greatest focus at this point."
Auburn defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder sees his defense taking shape as well. "We're not a real big defense, so we've got to play smart, play with leverage, play physical and play fast to the ball. As long as our players are working hard to get better, we'll get better."
Auburn returns to the practice field Friday afternoon.
Season tickets, six-game plans, three-game mini-packs and select single-game tickets for the 2012 Auburn football season are now available to the general public through the Auburn Athletics Department Ticket Office.
