A few Auburn quarterbacks warm up before Wednesday's scrimmage
AUBURN, Ala. — Rain chased Auburn out of Jordan-Hare Stadium and into its indoor practice facility Wednesday, but that didn't stop the Tigers from staging their first scrimmage of the fall.
After a short warm up, the Tigers began scrimmaging, though the day may be cut shorter than scheduled.
The coaches were particularly interested in the play of quarterbacks Kiehl Frazier, Nick Marshall, Jonathan Wallace and Jeremy Johnson. The quarterbacks traded in their orange non-contact jerseys for their blue jerseys before practice began.
One of the few observers allowed in was former coach Pat Dye. He, like every other Auburn fan, wanted to check out the quarterbacks.
