Quoting Auburn Freshman Players- August 1, 2008

Jomarcus Savage, DL
Being in shape, size, & position:
"I am in pretty decent shape right now, but I could be in better shape. I'm about 6-2.5 and about 275. I am still trying to get down a little. I'll play defensive end tomorrow (in practice)."

Barrett Trotter, QB
Thoughts going into two-a-days:
"I just really want to go in there and show the coaches what I can do. I am not going to be the one to say `I want to start, I want this and that.' I just want to go in there and play as good as I can. If I can help out the team coming in this year, then that is the role that I'm going to have to play, I have no problem with that. But at the same time, I'm going to work as hard as I can and see what happens."

D'Antoine Hood, DB
On playing this year:
"My playing time depends on me. It's how I perform and how well I do on the field. Playing time is up to me and how well I produce. Basically, I'm going out there to try and earn it."

Cameron Henderson, DL
Goals for the upcoming season:
"My goals are hopefully to get some playing time. I'm not looking to start, but I just want to play which ever way I can."

Harry Adams, DB
On playing this year:
"I try not to think about that because I know it is the coaches' decision. If he likes me on the field then that's more playing time."

Philip Pierre-Louis, WR
Goals for the upcoming season:
"Obviously, I want to play as freshman, but I would like to help the team out any way I can. That's the main goal."

On enrolling in Auburn early:
"I think it was a great idea for me to enroll early. Being able to work out with the team and start learning how to do things has really helped me."

Christian Thompson, DB
Thoughts on the upcoming season:
"Coming in as a freshman, there isn't a lot of depth (at defensive back). I realize that I can come in here and work hard at practice and learn to play, I feel like I can help the team out."

T'Sharvan Bell, DB
Thoughts on the upcoming season:
"I think it's going to be a good season, the team is looking good right now. We'll see how two-a-days go. It should be a good season. Our goal is to make it to the SEC Championship game."

On two-a-days beginning:
"I know it's going to be a grind, but it's an opportunity to get better as a player and that is exciting."
