AUBURN, Ala. ― Jonathan Jones, Carl Lawson and Duke Williams lead a big contingent of Auburn players on the preseason All-SEC football teams unveiled Friday from SEC Media Days 2015.

Ten Auburn football players were named to the teams, including Jones, Lawson and Williams, who all earned first-team honors. Jones was named a first-team defensive back, Lawson a first-team defensive lineman and Williams a first-team wide receiver.

Earning second-team recognition were quarterback Jeremy Johnson and linebacker Cassanova McKinzy.

Auburn players voted to the third-team were offensive linemen Avery Young and Alex Kozan, linebacker Kris Frost, defensive lineman Montravius Adams and defensive back Rudy Ford.

SEC Media Days 2015 also liked Auburn as a whole, voting the Tigers to win the Southeastern Conference championship.

Jones, Lawson, Williams, Johnson and Young are watch lists for national awards as well. Williams was named to the Walter Camp Player of the Year watch list Friday. Auburn's national nominees are here.

Williams caught 45 passes for 730 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games last season. Lawson missed last season with an injury, but his reputation and promised still earned him first-team honors. Jones had six interceptions last season.

Johnson won second-team status though his play was limited last season as Nick Marshall's backup.
