Auburn's Jonathan Jones adding to his preseason recognition

Jonathan Jones is on another preseason watch list for a prestigious national award.
The Auburn senior was named to the watch list Monday for the Jim Thorpe Award, which goes to the nation's top defensive back. He was named to Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list last week and the LOTT IMPACT Trophy as well.
Jones had six interceptions last season to go along with his 36 tackles.
Other players on watch lists for national awards are Cassanova McKinzy, who is also up for two awards, Jeremy Johnson, Duke Williams, Alex Kozan, Avery Young and Carl Lawson.
Gus Malzahn is on the watch list for the Bobby Dodd Trophy, which goes to the nation's top coach.
