The Auburn football team opened its final week of spring practice with a two-hour workout in full pads on the practice fields behind the Athletics Complex.
The Tigers opened with field goals before moving to individual and group drills. More special teams work took place during the middle portion of practice, before the Tigers moved to team work during the late stages of practice.
"It was a good practice," said head coach Gene Chizik. "We went back and really tried to define some things defensively and offensively. Focusing on trying to get some things fixed is what our main concern was tonight. It was practice 12, a lot of energy, and I think it was a productive night."
The Tigers opened with field goals before breaking into groups for individual and position drills. The offense and defense worked against each other through much of the latter stages of practice, with more special teams work mixed in.
The Tigers are now just four days away from A-Day presented by the U.S. Navy, which will be held April 18 at 1 p.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Tickets for A-Day are $5 and are currently available for purchase at the Auburn Ticket Office located at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase in person at the ticket office or on game day at the stadium. Game day sales will be cash/check only.
