A-Day and Heisman Statue Unveiling Set for this Weekend

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn's annual spring football game, A-Day, will be held Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium, with the unveiling of statues commemorating Auburn's three Heisman Trophy winners at a ceremony at 10 a.m. THE GAME: Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and can be heard on the following affiliate stations. Audio only will be available on AuburnTigers.com. A taped-delayed broadcast of the game can be seen on CSS at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 14.
WESZ-FM 98.7--Abbeville HEISMAN STATUE CEREMONY: The Heisman statues commemorating Pat Sullivan, Bo Jackson and Cam Newton will be unveiled on the East side of Jordan-Hare Stadium in a ceremony at 10 a.m. Fans wishing to view the ceremony will be able to watch on the Jordan-Hare Stadium video board and at Auburn Arena. Stadium gates 1, 8U, 12 and 17 will open at 9:30 a.m., while the main entrance to Auburn Arena will open at 8 a.m. There will be limited space for fan viewing on the East side of the Stadium outside the barricaded area. The three Heisman Trophy winners will not be available for autographs to the general public.
TICKETS: Tickets are $5 for the general public and free for AU students with an Auburn Ignited card. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line on April 14. Tickets can be purchased at the Auburn Ticket Office located at Auburn Arena from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., or at various locations in the Auburn-Opelika area (Auburn Team Shop, University Bookstore, Anders Bookstore, Big Blue Bookstore, both J&M Bookstore locations, Tiger Rags).
On A-Day, tickets will be available at the Jordan-Hare Stadium ticket windows and at the main ticket office at Auburn Arena. FAN FEST: The Coca Cola Tiger Fan Fest, featuring inflatable games, sponsor sampling, face painting and appearances by the Auburn cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, marching band and Aubie will be located on the Nichols Center Lawn from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Verizon Wireless will be demonstrating the benefits of 4G LTE Technology AUTOGRAPH SESSION: A post-game autograph session will be held following the conclusion A-Day and will last for 45 minutes. Fans will be limited to one item per person.
PARKING: Parking Map Lots will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday and streets will be barricaded beginning at 6 a.m. Alpha Psi Rodeo parking will be in Texas (Hayfield - east of Donahue Drive). Tiger Transit shuttles will run both on and off-campus on Saturday, April 14 beginning at 10 a.m. Tiger Transit Shuttle service will run from the following off-campus locations: Village Mall, AU Airport (Fly-Ins Only), Sam's Club, Duck Samford, Facilities (will NOT run from TigerTown or the City Softball Complex). Tiger Transit Shuttle service will run from the following on-campus location: Facilities Division, Lem Morrison and Donahue, Woodfield and Donahue, West Parking Lot. TEAM SHOP SALE: The Auburn Team Shop will feature 50 percent off all merchandise (excluding custom jerseys and some polos) on Thursday, April 12 beginning at 9 a.m. and again on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. TIGER TRAIL: The annual Tiger Trail event will take place on Friday, April 13 at 5 p.m. at Auburn Arena. The 2012 class of Tiger Trail inductees: Carlos Rogers, Marci Clemons, Bill Cody, Ricky Smallridge, Gerald White and Frank Ford.
