AUBURN, Ala. --
Auburn Athletics announced on Monday a new level of season tickets for the 2014 football season.
The "Eagle's Nest" season tickets will be priced at $350 for all seven home games, a savings of $100 off the regular season ticket price. Due to reduced visitor ticket allotments for the 2014 season, there are a limited number of season tickets available in the east and west upper decks at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Eagle's Nest tickets will not require a Tigers Unlimited donation. The non-renewable seats will not be available for the 2015 season, as they will be included in the visiting team ticket allotments.
"We had a unique opportunity to offer the Eagle's Nest season tickets for this season only due to the fact that we now play Alabama and Georgia at home in the same year," Senior Associate AD Scott Carr said.
Carr said Auburn's agreements with Georgia and Alabama require Auburn to hold more tickets for their visitor allotments than for any of the other visiting teams.
Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said the program provides an opportunity to offer families more affordable tickets, which fans have requested. Jacobs said he heard support for a new program while visiting with fans in the state and region last year.
"We conducted town hall meetings last summer and our fans told us they would like to see some different ticket options," Jacobs said. "We listened, and we are pleased to offer this special package for the 2014 season."
Fans who are looking for the best available seating are encouraged to join Tigers Unlimited
. Joining TU is the only way for fans to guarantee the best seat locations and that their seats will be renewable.
