Auburn Football Practice Report
March 17, 2006 Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn football team spent 45 minutes on the practice fields Friday working in helmets and shorts in preparation for Saturday's annual A-Day game in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. CT. The Tigers spent the session in position drills and finishing up the final touches Saturday's game. "The main thing (today) was to get our legs back," Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "We had a physical practice yesterday. Tomorrow should be a good day. Hopefully, we'll have some good weather and most everyone should play." Saturday's A-Day game will feature four 12-minute quarters. The first-team offense will represent the blue team while the second-team offense will score points for the white team. General public tickets for Saturday's game are sold out. Gate 8 (student gate) on the southeast corner of Jordan-Hare Stadium, will be the only gate open for entrance for fans attending the game and will open at 11 a.m. General public seating inside the stadium will be available from Sections 18 to Sections 28 in the lower bowl of Jordan-Hare. Concession stands and restrooms will only be open on the South concourse and there will not be a post-game autograph session. Will-call for Saturday's game will be stationed at the Plainsman Park Ticket Booth and will be open at 10 a.m. The game will be tape delayed by Comcast Sports Southeast. Air dates are scheduled for Tues., March 21 at 7 p.m. CT and Wed., March 22 at 12:30 p.m. On the air waves, fans can listen to the game locally on WKKR 97.7 FM beginning at 1 p.m. The Tiger Team Village featuring interactive games and other activities will be open on the coliseum lawn from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Tiger Team Village is free and open to the public.
