AUBURN, Ala. - After a pair of days off, the Auburn football team resumed spring practice Tuesday with a two-hour workout in full pads at the practice fields behind the Athletic Complex. Tuesday's practice gave the Tigers a chance to work on areas needing improvement following last Saturday's scrimmage.

"It was good to get back out to practice today," said head coach Tommy Tuberville. "We had a good, spirited practice. We worked on a lot of things that we made mistakes on during the scrimmage. On the offensive line, our technique wasn't very good Saturday. We've got some speed on defense which creates problems for the offensive linemen when they get away from their technique. That's what happened to some of the younger guys, so we worked with the offensive line today."

Auburn opened with special teams work, concentrating on the punting game. The Tigers also conducted individual and team drills, before having the first and second teams work against each other to conclude the practice.

Auburn will continue spring practice with another workout Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. CT.

Auburn's annual spring football game, A-Day, will be held March 18 at 1 p.m. (CT) at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Due to current construction to the west and east concourses, approximately 10,000 tickets will be available for the game. Seating will be limited to the south stands.

Tickets for A-Day are currently available for general purchase, which may be purchased by calling 1-800-AUB-1957, ext. 1. Fans may also purchase tickets online at www.auburntigers.com, click "TICKETS" or in-person at the coliseum ticket office, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
