AUBURN, Ala. — Eight former Auburn football players have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, including last year's leading rusher and top receiver.
Peyton Barber, who declared for the NFL Draft after his junior year, will take his 1,017 rushing yards to the Combine, which runs from Feb. 23-29. Ricardo Louis, who led Auburn with 46 catches for 716 yards, will be there, too.
Also invited are the linebacker tandem of Kris Frost and Cassanova McKinzy, who were the second and third-leading tacklers for Auburn last season.
Other Auburn players invited are cornerback Jonathan Jones, offensive tackles Shon Coleman and Avery Young and receiver Duke Williams, who was dismissed from the team during the season.
More than 300 players were invited to the Combine.
Fourteen Auburn players from the 2014 team made NFL rosters last season.
