Linebacker Cassanova McKinzy, who toyed with the idea of leaving Auburn a year early to enter the NFL Draft, has decided to return for his senior season.

McKinzy was the second-leading tackler for the Tigers in 2014 with 91 tackles, two off the team lead. He led the team with 11 tackles for a loss. He led Auburn in tackles in 2013 with 75 to become the first underclassman to lead the Tigers since 2008.

McKinzy has told the Auburn coaching staff of his decision, coming on the heels of the Tigers hiring Will Muschamp as defensive coordinator.

"The Auburn family means too much to me to not take advantage of the time I have here," McKinzy tweeted. "I'm looking forward to helping us build the best."

Later Tuesday, offensive lineman Avery Young said he's returning, too.

Fellow linebacker Kris Frost has not announced whether he'll return for his senior year.

Another Auburn player, junior receiver Duke Williams, has said he'll return. Receiver Sammie Coates said he'll enter the NFL Draft a year early.
