IRVINE, Calif. -- Auburn practiced in short pants Friday. Well, athletic shorts and jerseys, shoulder pads and helmets on the campus of the University of California-Irvine as it works toward Monday's BCS Championship Game against Florida State.
Yes, we have more video evidence to prove it.
You'll see the quarterbacks doing quarterback things, defensive linemen working out and a spy plane.
It could be a spy plane.
Anyway, Auburn is winding down its physical work, now three days before the game. Friday represented a regular game-week Wednesday practice. College teams take it easier once they finish their mid-week practice. Still, Auburn will work out Saturday to go over the finer details of the game plan.
