NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Auburn, the football team, isn't the only one that has flipped its fortunes this season.
Defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson did, too.
He was the head coach at Southern Miss in 2012, didn't win a game, but found a happy home in Auburn when he returned to the SEC.
"It's been a crazy year," Johnson says in the video.
Johnson and defensive back Robenson Therezie and Jermaine Whitehead also talked about defending Heisman Trophy quarterback Jameis Winston in Monday's BCS Championship Game.
"He can make any throw on the field. I think he's a great leader," Johnson said.
There's more. Tune in and watch…
