Head Coach Tommy Tuberville:
"We prevailed. That was about as ugly as it comes, but that is Auburn Football. That was our philosophy coming in to run it and see if we could wear their defensive front seven down. We did that. We have to be able to throw it a little bit more but that was my call. We almost let it get away from us. They have a good football team. We held them to seven points and they have been averaging 42. It showed a lot of character. The coaching staff did a great job. I thought the two-minute drill at the end with Brandon was excellent. That is how you do it. You have to score a field goal and you move it down there to the 5-yard line."
"Those running backs (for Arkansas) are unbelievable. Our guys did a great job. I am proud of our defense."
Quarterback Brandon Cox:
"I knew there was enough time. Once our return team got it out near the 50 there was no question in my mind. I knew we would get it done."
-Did you feel like you needed a touchdown since two field goals had already been missed?
"No, I knew if we got it close he would make it. I knew he had already missed two and he wouldnt miss another."
