  • Auburn is now 23-16-2 in bowl appearances and 2-3-1 in Sugar Bowl appearances
  • Daniel Thomas was the only first-time starter for Auburn; Auburn has had 15 first-time starters this season. Alex Kozan made his team-high 40th consecutive start.
  • Auburn's opening scoring drive lasted 5:56, the second longest drive resulting in a touchdown this season
  • Auburn held Oklahoma to just 14 first-half points, tied for the fewest first-half points by the Sooners this season (also vs. Texas)
  • The 2016 Auburn team ranks third in Auburn single-season history in rushing yards (3672), fourth in total offensive plays (934), fourth in total offensive yards (5,730), sixth in total first downs (286), fourth in rushing first downs (173), sixth in rushing touchdowns (33), and seventh in points scored (407)

  • Chandler Cox' 3-yard first-quarter touchdown run was the first career score for Cox. It was Auburn's longest-ever TD run in a Sugar Bowl game and just Auburn's second-ever first-quarter TD in a Sugar Bowl game.
  • Kamryn Pettway (1,224 yards) is now 13th on the Auburn single-season rushing list. With 101 yards rushing tonight, Pettway posts his seventh 100-yard rushing game this season and the 16th Auburn 100-yard rushing performance in a bowl game all-time
  • Pettway's 24 carries tonight are the most ever by an Auburn rusher in a Sugar Bowl game
  • With four receptions tonight, Eli Stove is tied for sixth place among Auburn freshman receivers with 22 catches this season (tied with Marcus Davis/2013 and Deandre Green/2000)
  • Kyle Davis ranks eighth all-time among Auburn freshman receivers in yardage with 248 yards this season
  • John Franklin III is ninth on the Auburn single-season quarterback rushing list with 430 yards.
  • Darius Slayton's 56-yard reception from Jeremy Johnson was a career long for Slayton and Auburn's longest completion of the season
  • Kerryon Johnson's touchdown pass to Jalen Harris was Johnson's first touchdown pass and Harris' second TD catch of the season

  • With eight tackles each, Stephen Roberts and Deshaun Davis led the Tigers. It was Davis's third career game as Auburn's leading tackler and Roberts' first.

  • Daniel Carlson is 28-32 on field goals this season, breaking his own record for the most FG made in a season at Auburn. Those 28 field goals made in a season rank third in SEC history. Carlson's 49-yard field goal in the second quarter was the longest Auburn field goal in a Sugar Bowl game.
  • Carlson is 69-83 on field goals for his career, the Auburn career record for field goals made, attempted and percentage. Carlson ranks eighth in SEC history with 69 career field goals made.
  • Carlson is second in Auburn career scoring with 354 points, behind only Wes Byrum (363 from 2007-10). Carlson is second in Auburn all-time single-season scoring with 134 points this year (behind Tre Mason, 150 points in 2013), and holds the Auburn record for most points in a season by a kicker, passing Wes Byrum (123 in 2010).
  • Carlson has made 141 consecutive PAT kicks, the longest string in Auburn history and the second-longest in SEC history.
  • With 21 career points in bowl games, Carlson is tied with Wes Byrum for fourth in Auburn career bowl scoring.
  • Kevin Phillips' 63-yard punt was his second career punt of more than 60 yards and his 16th of 50 yards or longer. It was the 10th longest punt in Sugar Bowl history.
