    Responsibility: Serves as the Auburn team chaplain. Also is the Auburn campus director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the State Director for Urban Ministries for FCA.

    Experience: Former President of IMPACT Ministries, Spartanburg, S.C. (1995-99). Served as Pastor of New Covenant Baptist Church in New Orleans, La. (1993-95). Co-Pastor of New Song Baptist Church in Mobile, Ala. from 1991-93. Licensed (1987) and Ordained Minister (1988).

    Personal Information: Born Sept. 3, 1963. Married to the former Lakeba Hibbler. Two daughters, Lauren Denise and Caitlyn Mae, and one son, Chette LaRue, Jr. Received Bachelor of Science from Auburn in Adult Education in 1985. Received Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. Three-year letterman on Auburn football team from 1982-84. During playing career, Auburn won the Sugar Bowl, the Citrus Bowl and the Liberty Bowl.
