Responsibility: Assists with day-to-day football operations, with emphasis on camps, clinics, team travel, and NFL relations.

Experience: Served as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Iowa State from 2007-08. Was the defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach at UAB from 2003-05. Coached at Troy from 1991-2002, first as offensive line coach, before taking over as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach while serving as assistant head coach beginning in 1997. Tight ends and special teams coach at Clemson from 1986-89. Had two stints at Auburn, coaching tight ends from 1981-85 and serving as an offensive assistant in 1990. Assisted with coaching the offensive line for Pat Dye at Wyoming in 1980, before coming with Dye to Auburn in 1981. Started collegiate coaching career as an offensive graduate assistant at East Carolina in 1978-79. Was a four-year starter for Dye at East Carolina from 1974-77, earning All-American honors as an offensive lineman in 1977.
