Dr. Siraj Abdullah, D.O., received his B.A. degree in psychology from Eastern Illinois University. He completed his post-baccalaureate studies at UNC Greensboro before earning his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Va. He completed his residency with Palmetto Health at the University of South Carolina, where he also completed his Sports Medicine fellowship with the Department of Sports Medicine. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Abdullah served as the Associate Program Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship and Assistant Professor of Family and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Abdullah now serves as an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship on the Auburn campus of the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also is the Associate Team Physician for Auburn University.
