Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Responsibilities: Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for football. Director of Sports Nutrition for football.

Professional Experience: Assistant Athletic Performance coach at UCLA from 2011-12, working directly with football, while directing the Athletic Performance programs for women's soccer and men's volleyball. Served two years as the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at New Mexico State (2009-11) and three years as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Sacramento State (2006-09). Was as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Southern California (2002-06) for four years, working with football, baseball, soccer, men's tennis, cross-country, men's golf, swimming and track and field. He was part of three consecutive Pac-10 Championships and two back-to-back National Championships in football.

Personal: Born Feb. 17, 1965. Married to the former Christie Valine. They have two children, Jake and Caleb. Received a Bachelor's of Science degree from La Verne University in 1996 and awarded Master's of Science degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2005. Certifications: USAW Level 1.
