Auburn scored over 30 points for the second straight game and now has won 79 consecutive games when hitting the 30-point mark. In its history, Auburn is now 294-4 all-time when scoring at least 30 points.
 
Auburn held Arkansas State to nine points without a touchdown. The last game Auburn did not allow an opponent to score a touchdown was in a 17-6 win over Florida on Oct. 15, 2011.
 
Auburn finished the game with 301 yards rushing, it's first 300-yard rushing game since it rushed for 341 yards against Alabama A&M in 2012.
 
The first-quarter 18-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Davis from Nick Marshall was the first career reception and score for Davis and the first career TD pass for Marshall. Marcus Davis is the first Auburn player to score a touchdown on his first career reception since Kiehl Frazier vs. ULM last season
 
Cody Parkey extended his SEC-leading streak of consecutive successful PAT kicks to 58
 
Tre Mason is now in 10th place among Auburn career leaders in kickoff return yards, with 877. He passed Roderick Hood (2000-02), who totaled 874 yards on 44 returns. Mason, who now has 1,335 yards rushing, is now 32nd among Auburn career rushers, passing Fred Beasley (1,241 from 1994-97) and Ed Dyas (1,298 from 1958-60). Next on the list is William Andrews (1976-78) with 1,347 yards.

Jaylon Denson's 17-yard reception in the first quarter was a career long for the junior; his previous long was 12 against Arkansas in 2012
 
Corey Grant scored a touchdown for the second straight game with his 17-yard first-quarter run. He's the first Auburn player to score touchdowns in the first two games of the season since Onterio McCalebb did so in 2009. Tre Mason has also scored in Auburn's first two games this season; Mason has 13 career touchdowns (11 rushing, 2 KOR)
 
The 68-yard second quarter TD pass from Nick Marshall to Sammie Coates was a career long for both; Coates' previous long was 42 yards vs. Ole Miss last season. It was the first 60-yard-plus pass play for Auburn since a 62-yard pass from Cam Newton to Darvin Adams vs. South Carolina in the 2010 SEC championship game
 
Cameron Artis-Payne scored his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter, a 12-yard run that also put him over 100 yards on the night.
 
Chris Davis finished with 10 tackles, a career high. He had seven solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, two pass break-ups and one forced fumble.
