Pat Bradley scored a career-high 21 points and Derek Hood added a career-high 16 points to lead Arkansas to an 87-77 victory over Auburn before a sold out crowd of 19,868 in Bud Walton Arena. The Hogs opened the game with a 20-4 run in the first seven minutes as the Tigers committed 19 first half turnovers, a season-high 25 for the game. However, Auburn closed to within 26-24 five minutes later, outsoring the Hogs 20-6. Arkansas then pushed its lead to 40-32 at the half. The Tigers crawled to within 54-53 with 11:53 left in the game, only to have the Hogs go on a 14-3 run for a 68-56 margin with 9:22 left. A 13-2 Auburn run followed for a 70-69 Arkansas lead with 4:01 left. Kareem Reid then hit a 20-footer and Bradley then all eight of Arkansas' next eight points were scored by Bradley. Bradley's final 3-pointer pushed an Arkansas 2-point lead to 81-76 with 2:19 left. Lance Weems drilled seven 3-pointers to lead Auburn with 22 points. Pat Burke recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Tigers shot .362 percent from the field compared to Arkansas' .441 percent. Other than Weems (7-13 treys), Auburn was 3-18 from 3-point range. The Tigers were 17-27 (.630) from the free throw line. Alvin Jefferson scored a career-high 12 points off the bench and tied his career-high with 7 rebounds.
