In the last meeting between the two, Auburn defeated Murray State 72-53 on Dec. 14, 2002, in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum while the Tigers defeated the Racers 86-72 in Birmingham on Dec. 21, 1996. Tony Barbee vs. Murray StateThis is the first time Auburn's Tony Barbee has coached against Murray State. Tigers in CharlestonAuburn is 4-0 all-time in Charleston, S.C. as the Tigers are 2-0 against the College of Charleston, 1-0 vs. The Citadel, 1-0 vs. Charleston Southern. The Tigers' last game in the city came in an 89-59 win over Charleston Southern in the North Charleston Coliseum on Nov. 19, 2007.
