Auburn Basketball Participates in Breast Cancer Awareness Run

AUBURN - Members of the Auburn men's basketball team and coaching staff participated in the two-mile Breast Cancer Awareness run for the Breast Cancer Center at East Alabama Medical Center this past weekend, and the Tiger freshmen showed their dominance.

Freshman Lucas Hargrove recorded the team's best time in 12:27 followed by freshman Kelvin Lewis (13:06), freshman DeWayne Reed (13:21), sophomore Quantez Robertson (13:36), sophomore Rasheem Barrett (14:12), junior Quan Prowell (14:13) as well as freshmen Ryan Brooks (14:25) and Matt Heramb (14:31).

Freshman Larry Williams Jr. came in next at 14:41, ahead of junior Archie Miaway (14:45), junior Frank Tolbert (15:19) and sophomore Korvotney Barber (15:24). Lebo finished in a time of 15:59, a second ahead of staff members John Searby and Randall Malone.

Auburn opens preseason practice Oct. 13. The Tigers play a pair of exhibition games vs. Faulkner Nov. 3 and AUM Nov. 7 before playing host to their season opener against Troy Nov. 10.
