BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Auburn basketball team has learned its conference opponents for the upcoming season, the league office announced Wednesday.
The 2017-18 Southeastern Conference champions will play their three traditional home-and-home games against Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss in addition to Kentucky and Mississippi State.
Other home games inside Auburn Arena include Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Tennessee.
The Tigers will hit the road in single-game matchups with LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
Times, dates and television information will be announced at a later date.
The SEC had 10 teams reach the postseason last year, including a record eight in the NCAA Tournament. Nine programs posted 20-win seasons, which was second in the country among all conferences.
Auburn is already expected to play a loaded schedule during the non-conference portion as it is set to face multiple high-profile programs.
The Tigers will play in the 2018 Maui Invitational for the first time in school history against a stacked field that features Arizona, Duke, Xavier, Gonzaga, Illinois, Iowa State and San Diego State.
The combined field of the annual prestigious tournament tout 27 Final Four appearances, as well as six national titles.
Auburn has also scheduled NC State for the first matchup of a home-and-home series Dec. 19 in Raleigh, N.C.
