SHANXI, China - Auburn's Quan Prowell totaled a game-high 24 points and eight rebounds while Rasheem Barrett added 10 points to lead Reach USA to an 85-71 victory over Zhe Jiang Friday in Shanxi, China. The win broke a two-game losing streak as Reach USA improved its record to 5-2 on the eight-game tour.
Reach USA led by nine points in the first half and 11 in the second half before Zhe Jiang came back to tie it before USA got hot at the end.
Prowell was an impressive 11-of-14 from the field and was 2-of-2 from the foul line while Barrett was 3-of-11 from the field, including 1-of-2 from 3-point range. Barrett, who was a perfect 3-of-3 on free throws, added three rebounds two assists and a steal.
In the seven games, Prowell is averaging 15.4 points and 7.1 rebounds while Barrett chips in 10.8 points and 4.6 boards.
The team plays the final game of the trip Saturday against Zhe Jiang.
