SHANXI, China--Auburn's Quan Prowell and Rasheem Barrett scored eight points apiece as Reach USA lost to Zhe Jiang 67-63 Thursday in Shanxi, China, marking the second straight loss to Zhe Jiang by a combined seven points. Reach USA is now 4-2 on its eight-game Chinese tour.
Reach USA led for most of the game but lost the lead for good with two minutes to play. Prowell was only 3-of-11 from the field while Barrett was 2-of-8. Barrett had five boards, two steals and a block while Prowell totaled four rebounds and an assist, steal and block.
In the six games, Prowell is averaging 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while Barrett is averaging 10.3 points and 4.8 boards. The team will play two more games vs. Zhe Jiang to close out the eight-game Chinese tour.
