AUBURN -- Auburn fans are invited to get a "sneak peek" at Auburn Arena on A-Day, April 17. The doors of Auburn Arena will first open for Tigers Unlimited members from 10-11 am Central while the arena will remain open for the general public from 11 am-12:30 pm and after the A-Day game until 5 pm.
The Auburn Arena entrance is located on the north side of the building.
Due to on-going construction, public restrooms will not be available in the arena for the sneak peek.
As Coach Tony Barbee said, he and the team need your help. While the Auburn Arena will be the finest basketball facility in the conference and one of the best in the country, the building alone won't make it a great atmosphere. Your support, your presence and your patience will be crucial as Coach Barbee works to build a foundation for the future.
For those of you who have supported Auburn basketball in the past, we thank you. We hope you will once again purchase season tickets for the inaugural season in Auburn Arena.
For those of you who have never purchased season tickets before and would like to do so, we urge you to visit www.auburnarena.com and fill out a Seat Request Form. The website also includes seating configuration information and pricing for all three teams that will compete there, including men's and women's basketball and gymnastics.
The gates at Jordan-Hare Stadium will open at 11 am for the A-Day Game, with kickoff to follow at 1 pm. A postgame autograph session with players and coaches will be held on the field after a brief cooling off period.
