Basketball Signees Johnson & Price To Participate in All-American High School Final Four Championships

AUBURN - Auburn basketball signees Shaq Johnson and Jordan Price have been selected to participate in several prestigious events taking place during the NCAA Tournament Final Four in New Orleans this weekend. Johnson, who attended Milton High in Alpharetta, Ga., has been chosen to the 10-man South team that will play the North in the All-American Championship on Sunday at Lakefront Arena at 4 pm Central on ESPN3.com. The East plays the West at 2 pm Central. Both games will be re-broadcast on Sunday on ESPNU beginning at 8 pm Central. Tickets for the All-American Championship may be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com. Johnson and Price will also participate in the American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships that will air at 3:30 pm Central on Sunday on CBS. The high-flying Johnson will showcase his talents in the slam dunk portion while Price, who attended Southwest DeKalb High in Decatur, Ga., will take part in the 3-point Shooting Championship. The taping of the High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will take place at the Alario Center in New Orleans on Friday at 7 pm Central. A limited number of complimentary screening passes are available for fans who would like to attend the event. Screening passes may be requested by visiting HighSchoolSlamTix.com. Screening passes do not guarantee admission and seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis for those with screening passes only. The broadcast team includes Tim Brando, Bill Raftery and Lewis Johnson as well as reports from expert analyst Chris Stonebraker of MaxPreps. The program will have numerous encore presentations on CBS College Sports.
