The Auburn men's basketball team (22-11) plays host to Ohio Valley Conference regular season champion UT Martin (22-9) in the NIT first round on Wednesday at 7 pm Central in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. It is Auburn's first postseason appearance since going to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2003. UT Martin is led by Lester Hudson, who ranks second in the nation averaging 27.3 points per game behind Davidson's Stephen Curry. UT Martin ranks 16th nationally averaging 78.7 points per game.
Due to a larger than expected demand for reserved tickets, the Auburn Athletics Ticket Office is expanding the reserved sections to: lower level sections 28-34 and 9-13. Please order on-line at www.autigertickets.com, or call 1-800-282-1957, and press #1 for tickets. The Ticket Office will remain open until 4:30 pm CT on Tuesday and on Wednesday, and will re-open in the Coliseum Box Office at 5 pm CT at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.
Reserved tickets are $15 each, general admission tickets are $10 each and tickets are $5 each for Auburn students and those 18 and under.
The game is not televised but can be heard on the Auburn/ISP Sports Network and XM Satellite Radio Channel 199.
