Scouting Alabama

The Crimson Tide, which is just two games out of the SEC lead, has won 10 of their last 13 games with one of its losses at Auburn 49-37 on Feb. 6 ... the other two losses came in a 97-94 heartbreaker in double overtime at LSU on Saturday despite a career-high 36 points from Trevor Releford and a 54-53 setback at Tennessee on Jan. 26 ... Releford went 14-of-18 from the floor and made all four 3-point attempts at LSU ... Eight of Alabama's 14 SEC games have been decided by four points or less and the Tide is 6-2 in those games ... in the Auburn game, the Tigers scored 13 points the first half and the Crimson Tide scored 14 points in the second half ... Trevor Releford aver- ages a team-high 15.4 points to rank fifth in the SEC in scoring and shoots 42.3 percent from 3-point range ...
