Scouting Vanderbilt

The Commodores ended a three-game SEC losing streak by winning at South Carolina 58-51 on Saturday, limiting the Gamecocks to 23.7 percent shoot from the fi eld and 4-of-21 (.190) from 3-point range ... Vanderbilt, which had 18 turnovers to South Carolina's seven but made 6-of-13 threepointers, was led by Kyle Fuller's 12 points and fi ve rebounds off the bench and Dai-Jon Parker's 11 points and fi ve boards ... in SEC play, Vanderbilt attempts 47.8 percent of its shots from 3-point range, 98 of its 205 attempts are from behind the arc ... the Commodores are shooting 33.7 percent from 3-point range in league play and 35.0 percent in all games ... however in the last two games, Vanderbilt is shooting 43.3 percent (23-of-53) from 3-point range ... the Commodores lost to Ole Miss 89-79 after being outscored 11-1 in overtime on Jan. 15 despite going 17-of-40 (.425) from 3-point range
