Auburn had the lead late, but Missouri had a little more at home Tuesday night.
Missouri scored the last nine points to beat Auburn 63-61 despite a 24-point night from KT Harrell. Auburn got help from its leading scorer, plus TJ Lang, who got the start and finished with 13 points and a team-high five rebounds.
Auburn missed second-leading scorer Antoine Mason, who missed his second straight game following the death of former NBA standout Anthony Mason. The Tigers are without another starter, Tahj Shamsid-Deen, who left the season a few weeks back to have surgery on both shoulders.
Auburn fell to 12-18 overall and 4-13 in the SEC. Missouri improved to 9-21 overall and 3-14 in the league.
Auburn will close out the regular season against Georgia at 3 p.m. Saturday in Auburn Arena.
