Auburn Head Coach Tony Barbee

On the last few seconds of the game...

"I am disappointed in the loss, but I am proud of the way they fought in this game. It is like I told the guys, we all wanted to win. They were fighting their tails off to win, but it is a key indication that when we don't care who gets the glory and we are doing this together and doing it for each other, we are a pretty good team. I am disappointed in the loss. We had our opportunities. The game wasn't lost on that last play. The game was lost because we had some guys that had wide open looks all night long that didn't convert. All night long and we shoot 36 percent."

On gaining the lead early and having confidence...

"It wasn't the confidence level. It was that we got out of our own way. We stopped worrying about petty stuff that every team goes through at some point in the middle of the year, usually this time of year when you are in conference play. The teams that address it and the teams that talk about and bring it up in front of each other are the teams that kind of go on a run. That is what we did this week. I thought it really got us going together and back to worrying about our jobs."

On the play of Chris Denson and Jordan Price...

"I thought they looked good. With those guys, it is a process getting them back. He is still not where he was pre-injury. He is getting closer to getting back."

On Ole Miss taking away Rob Chubb...

"They didn't take Rob away. They didn't take him away."

On the issues the team is having...

"I am not going into what goes on in the locker room. Every team goes through issues for whatever reasons. Every team, even the No. 1 team in the country and the team that has no wins right now. Every team goes through issues. The teams that don't address them and let them fester ruin their seasons. Teams that deal with them can get on a good flow. I thought we did that this week and that is why we played really well against a really good team."

On the missed opportunites...

"What do you do? Guys have to have confidence when they have open shots. We had everything we wanted. We had open threes. We got the ball to the rim. We couldn't get the ball to the post and that was disappointing. Rob has to fight harder for positioning. He has to do better. He has to be better offensively for this team."

On the final two minutes of the first half...

"Obviously it hurt. When you are up 10 with three minutes to go you are supposed to finish that half out. I had to go to the bench a little bit during that time and when you go to the bench, you have to have guys contribute, not just offensively but defensively as well."

Auburn Player Quotes

Frankie Sullivan

On the loss...

"That's a tough pill to swallow right there, but we played hard. I think we bounced back from the last two games. We played well together as a team, and I think it showed tonight. We can do some great things when we just lock in and stay focused."

On the difference talking about their issues as a team made...

"I wouldn't say it made a difference. The team just wanted to come together and battle up because we knew we weren't performing well. It was more an individual thing so it just came down to a team thing so we had a team meeting, and everyone just laid out what they want to do and how they want to help the team and once you get that out then you can hold people accountable for what they say."

On being an accomplishment to play well in front of a big crowd...

"I wouldn't say that much because we know we've got it. We did it when we went to Illinois. We did it earlier this season with different teams, and we've just got to keep that mindset. I think the way we've been practicing, and everybody stepping up, it's going to be a rocky road for a lot of teams when we go to their house or they come here from now on. That's not coming just from me, it's as a team. If you talk to anyone on the team that's out mindset from now on, we're not going to be the ones getting punched every game, we'll be doing to punching from now on out. "

On his poor performance and how to improve...

"Get in the gym, point blank simple. When you're a shooter you know better. It wasn't like anyone contested my shots. I think seven of my nine threes were wide open. It's just me knocking shots down. That's my job for the team, and I'm not doing it right now. I'll definitely get in the gym. I'll come back here later tonight."

On the play with Chris Denson's blocked shot...

"I'm going to take it back. That was a great play. He just got blocked."

On finding out how to win close games...

"The best experience you learn from is a loss when you're down at your worst. I think that once we lost two close games and in this game right here you go back and watch film and as you can see from the Vandy game, we corrected stuff so I think in due time it's going to come around."

Chris Denson

On what he did to improve his health condition...

"Just rehab, I put it all on rehab. We've got a great trainer here. After the Vanderbilt game, I wasn't too happy about my performance so I came back and just rehabbed and rehabbed and practiced, and I'm 100 percent now."

On being able to play well with a big crowd...

"We had a different mindset and like he said had a team meeting, and we talked about it after the loss at Vanderbilt. It was a big eye opener for us. We had a team meeting and had practice afterwards so we were practicing hard and did what we had to do so out mind was just strictly on this game. Coach Barbee said before the game there's a lot of fans out there, and we disappointed them in the Kentucky game so we can't disappoint them this game, and we played our hearts out."

On wanting possession for the shot that got blocked...

"I think yes because a couple plays before that the big man stepped up, and I went around him and got to finish. So yes, the plan was to come off an attack the big man. I saw Frank being held and that's part of me growing up. I should have made the right play and leave Frank in the corner."

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On the last two defensive series...

"That was the difference in the game. We held them to 28 percent from the field in the second half. We out rebounded them. We limit our turnovers. We weren't very efficient from the foul line. We end up shooting 50 percent in the second half. We're close to 50 percent from the three, but when you go 4-for-17 from the foul line and you can still find a way to grind out a road SEC win, I think it speaks to the character of this group and their will to win. Not much was going right for us offensively. "Snoop" [LaDarius] White came in and was tremendous, gave us a huge pop by making shots. We did a better job of playing off the attention they were giving Marshall [Henderson.] We had some driving lanes. Again, if we make a foul shot, we're not sweating out that last possession."

On LaDarius White's performance...

"We needed him. Reginald [Buckner] got in early foul trouble, was really a non-factor. Murphy [Holloway] really struggled offensively, was a man amongst boys on the glass. I thought Jarvis [Summers] had a good floor game in his ability to finish closer, and make a foul shot, kept us in the game. Marshall [Henderson] hit three of his first four, then didn't make many after that, so we needed somebody to give us enough ammunition to have a chance to win."

On team's focus for Kentucky next week...

"I've never really been worried about the focus of these guys for the last three weeks. I'm worried about our ability to rebound physically after a quick turn. A Thursday-Saturday turn with travel is difficult. Now, we've got to do it again, and play a good Kentucky team with a big home win today. The good thing is we're going to be playing in front of our fourth consecutive sellout, a lot of energy. We need Rebel nation there."

Ole Miss Player Quotes

Marshall Henderson #22, Jr., G

On missed free throws...

"I've pretty much known all my life that free throws are contagious. We just got stuck and it happens but we found a way to win."

On Auburn's defense... "They were switching the last screener and the four man. They were switching them on to me. I don't know. I really just missed shots. I can't tell you how they were scoring so much. I'll know better once we watch film and look it over."

LaDarius White #10 So., G

On his confidence...

"I just wanted to attack. Last game, I was kind of down. I know I can do better. I know that for a fact, and I just wanted to come out tonight, attack and show my game."

On his role with the offense...

"I understand my role. I just have to play my role to my best ability. My role is to defend and attack."
